Our client has been established for over eighty years and is one of the UK’s largest privately owned housebuilders with a reputation for building high-quality homes and creating vibrant communities.

They are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding customers’ expectations and are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Site Manager to join the team on a 50 unit scheme in Buckinghamshire.

**Job Summary:**

As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Site Manager in the delivery of the project. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality construction of their homes while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction and adhering to the company’s values and standards.

**Responsibilities:**

* Assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of the site, including planning, organising and controlling the construction process
* Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the companies health and safety policies, procedures, and standards
* Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of works
* Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all work meets the quality standards
* Identify and report any defects or issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary
* Collaborate with the Site Manager to prepare and manage project programmes, schedules, and budgets
* Liaise with customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and service
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including site diaries, reports, and quality control documentation
* Participate in site meetings, progress meetings, and other forums to ensure effective communication and collaboration

**Requirements:**

* Previous experience in a construction or site management role with a residential housebuilder
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and regulations
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Proven ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Valid CSCS card, First Aid and SMSTS certification
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle
