Site Manager

Our award winning 5 star rated client who pride themselves on building exceptional homes that families love to live in over the last 70 years, are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to join the dynamic team based on a residential housing development in West Sussex. With 30 units left to deliver over the coming months and then with a new site in the similar area to move onto which has been approved in planning.


  • Site Manager in delivering high-quality residential projects on time and within budget.
  • Coordinating and managing subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to health and safety regulations and meet our quality standards.
  • Monitoring and maintaining site progress, reporting any issues or delays to the Contracts Manager.
  • Assisting in the preparation and management of site budgets, ensuring cost control and value for money.
  • Support the delivery of the highest levels of customer satisfaction, focusing on the quality of the finished product and addressing any customer concerns efficiently.
  • Collaborating closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to drive sales and meet targets.
  • Act as a key point of contact for suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders, maintaining excellent working relationships.
  • Promote and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all site personnel.


  • Proven experience working in a similar role within the construction industry, ideally with a residential developer.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, capable of motivating and guiding the site team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, ensuring effective coordination and delivery of projects.
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience enforcing them on sites.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.
  • Strong IT skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction software.
  • A valid CSCS card, SMSTS and First Aid certificates and other appropriate construction-related qualifications.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a willingness to go the extra mile to achieve project deadlines.
