Our client are one of the nations leading brands and are growing throughout Surrey, Sussex and Kent and are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the business.

The role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor offers a unique blend of professional growth and personal satisfaction. Offering flexible working between office, home and site, working on two new developments in Kent and Sussex, with support from a Senior Surveyor. The  is aim is to work on the developments under guidance as required and have exposure/enhance experience on other sites. (responsibilities can increase based on the individual’s performance).

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of cost estimates, conducting site visits, and liaising with contractors and suppliers. You will play a crucial role in budget management, cost control, and financial reporting, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and to the highest standards.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the construction or property development sectors, is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in relevant software applications are essential. Excellent communication and negotiation skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.
