Our award winning 5 star rated client who pride themselves on building exceptional homes that families love to live in, are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Site Manager to join the dynamic team based on a new residential housing development in West Sussex. With over 70 years of experience, they have established ourselves as one of the UK’s leading residential developers.
- Assisting the Site Manager in delivering high-quality residential projects on time and within budget.
- Coordinating and managing subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to health and safety regulations and meet our quality standards.
- Monitoring and maintaining site progress, reporting any issues or delays to the Site Manager.
- Assisting in the preparation and management of site budgets, ensuring cost control and value for money.
- Support the delivery of the highest levels of customer satisfaction, focusing on the quality of the finished product and addressing any customer concerns efficiently.
- Collaborating closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to drive sales and meet targets.
- Act as a key point of contact for suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders, maintaining excellent working relationships.
- Promote and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all site personnel.
- Proven experience working in a similar role within the construction industry, ideally with a residential developer.
- Strong leadership and management skills, capable of motivating and guiding the site team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, ensuring effective coordination and delivery of projects.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience enforcing them on sites.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong IT skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction software.
- A valid CSCS card, SMSTS and First Aid certificates and other appropriate construction-related qualifications.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a willingness to go the extra mile to achieve project deadlines.
