**Job Summary:**
They are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Hampshire. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of their bespoke construction projects typically between 10 – 30 units in size, including cost control, budgeting, and contract administration. You will work closely with their site teams, and clients to ensure that projects are delivered to the highest standard and within budget.
**Responsibilities:**
* Manage the commercial aspects of construction projects, including cost control, budgeting, and contract administration
* Prepare and manage project budgets, including forecasting and cost reporting
* Experience of Land appraisals would be advantageous
* Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential commercial risks
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers
* Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and contractors
* Identify and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities
* Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure project delivery is on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
* Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards
**Requirements:**
* Degree or other Quantity Surveying qualification
* Minimum 10 years’ experience in a quantity surveying role
* Proven track record of managing commercial aspects of residential construction projects
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction software
