Our client are a well established and reputable main contractor proven at delivering high-quality, sustainable homes within West London and the neighbouring counties. The are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Site Manager to lead a new 45-unit traditionally built affordable housing development, spread across two blocks of apartments in Rickmansworth which is due to commence later in the year.
**Responsibilities:**
* Oversee all aspects of the site construction and manage the team of site operatives.
* Implement and monitor health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
* Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
* Monitor budgets and progress against project deadlines, reporting to the Construction Director.
* Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, including residents, the local authority, and other contractors.
* Ensure compliance with building regulations and all relevant standards.
* Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
* Motivate and lead the site team to deliver outstanding results.
**Requirements:**
* Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on similar traditional build projects, ideally in the affordable housing sector.
* Strong technical understanding of building regulations and construction best practices.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* A commitment to delivering high-quality work within budget and timeframes.
* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications.
